OHMIGOSH i know some girl who did the tuna diet... it REALLY works... she lost alot of weight and she looks awesome... the only thing that she did wrong was the lack of eXCeRSiSe! after she lost all that weight, her skin was pretty loose and dare i say flabby... but the point is that she did lose the weight she wanted... i think i am going to try it... i also have a friend who takes a bottle of water and adds oatmeal to it, shakes it up, and drinks that. it sounds pretty gross, but she says that after the oatmeal sinks to the bottom of the bottle it tastes like regular water... and since oatmeal is basically all fiber, it helps your body burn fat... or so she says... im gonna try both... at the same time... lets see what happens...

I have been on the Tuna Diet for 1 month and 10 days. I have lost a total of 24 pounds. I did exercise 3-4 times a week, ran 2-3 miles each session. drank gatorade and water, and had tuna on bread or bagel. Boiled egg whites for breakfast.
Vacation is in one week and I am passed my goal.

Start- 201 lbs. July 28
Current 176 lbs

Want to lose 6 more by next weekend, crash diet time!

Good luck, and it does get you in the mindset of eating healthy!

The tuna diet does work. Yes. I began it 3 weeks ago and felt the pounds fall off. Not only does the diet work, if you dont want to stay on the All tuna diet, it really gets you geared towards eating less and eating healthy. It taught me to be very concious of what (nutritional facts) is going on. Do the tuna diet for about a week/ two weeks if you dont really like. Then just make sure youre getting less than what you should be and you will see a difference. I have went from a size 9/10 to a 3/4.

hey wannabskinny! I wanna be skinny too lol! the first time i ever followed this diet i didn't know that tuna canned in water actually existed. & the diet did work like magic. i used to squeeze out every drop of oil though. I am sure in water has less calories but both are effective. Good luck y'all.. you think I'll be able to start this tuna diet tomorrow??
It tastes good especially with vineger, garlic, & mustard yet i donno why it's just so hard to start. I'm 66kgs 170cm's I wanna reach 58... lets see how it goes. hellalicious83@hotmail.com

Day One: started at lunch time yesterday. It was ok, but completely blew it at dinner. Trouble is that i live with my grandma and my parents have never really encouraged crash dieting, so i'm going to have fight on my hands, especially around dinner time weekdays, and when im at home with my parents, they're not going to understand! have to eat my brekkie in secret and my lunch and then get ready for lecture 4000 on healthy heating from my loving, relatively heealthy, but overweight parents. Other than that it seems ok, not puking yet!

I am going on this diet today. If anyone, male or female is interested in doing it with me, feel free to let me know!

I'm 5ft 1", 18, about 62kg (136lbs) am attempting to get down to 55kg (121 ) fairly rapidly. Have dieted before. Will be sticking to only tuna and water for the first two weeks and then i'll assess how i'm feeling and what's happening. Wish me luck.

Woah! This site is crazy. Google is awesome!
Today is day one of my tuna diet.
I'm mixing it w/a tiny bit of mayo/mustard-pepper/and relish. Super cold out of the fridge, no bread.
I love black Starbucks coffee w/2 splendas or sugar free Red Bull in the morning-
I'm going to add veggies into the diet, and take one day off. Maybe do salmon too..
Ideal would be to lose 30lbs. But i'll be happy with 15lbs. I'm 5'9 169lbs. w/a gut.
I hope I don't lose my big ass though...haha.
I'll post again in a few days...

I have been on the tuna diet (kinda) for a good 2 months now. i have mad eit my primary food. but i add veggies and, most of all, hot peppers - they will up your metabolism by 50%, water is good, and eating fruit works too.. mayeb it's just me, but as far as i know, i can switch to anything and it's not as intensive, but i dropped a good 20 LBS in that time frame, and i tried going back to other stuff, and nothing came back. even if i eat a chocolate bar. i think the tuna diet is very good, but guys make it gradual and mix it with other things. also i take multi vitamins to avoid the vitamin problems... i saw my doctor and took blood samples, and got my results last week, and he said that everything was good, actually, better than the average in most cases. just be careful guys with trying to lose too much too fast and rememebr if you're fat and you loose too much weight too fast your skin will not have enough time to adapt and you'll look like a big pile of cookie dough in no time, which is far more disgusting than being ultra fat. good luck and be healthy - oh and banish sodas from your diet, all of them.
